Derrion Albert
It appears that, a gang battle broke out on Thursday in Roseland, in Southside Chicago, and Derrion was murdered in the crash. Preliminary information was that he had refused to join a gang, ensuing in his whipping decease. However, since the amateur videotape has been made accessible, it comes into view he just got trapped in the fighting and was beaten to decease.
Chicago police consider this gang battle is yet one more in a series of fights and tensions that have been constant between Fenger High School students and rival gang associates.
