Wrigley announces first Doublemint Twins mints (R) … and twins as never seen before

Doublemint fans have a new way to enjoy the simple pleasures of life – new Doublemint Twins mints (R)!

The Doublemint Twins mints are the first introduction of a new product from the Doublemint brand in more than 90 years. “Consumers told us they were looking for an innovative and exciting way to enjoy the same taste of Doublemint with which they grew,” said Paul Chiba, senior marketing director for Wrigley.

With its unique blend of two flavors in one mint, the new twins will please fans of Doublemint and attract a new generation of fans. Available in varieties and Mintcreme Wintercreme, new Doublemint Twins look the emblematic blue arrows and green Doublemint brand and sold in a fun, convenient flip-top package. The suggested retail price is 69 cents for 37 mints.

“Consumers look to Doublemint to enjoy the perfect blend of mild mint they want, rather than an intense mint flavor,” continued Chiba, “therefore, the new Doublemint Twins mints will become an instant classic, like Doublemint gum, “he said.

New campaign to reach the public of Twins
The launch of the new advertising campaign this March 6, from Energy BBDO, builds upon the long tradition of the brand Doublemint Twins and their unique use jingle … with a surprising twist. Viewers will get a new pair of twins (twins) – two very different people in the same outfit, as is often worn by the twins – singing “New Doublemint Twins are different – They’re mints.
