The daughter of former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Glenn Garano, Gina Carano, 25, is a Mauy Thai fighter and holds a remarkable 12-1-1 record, she made history as a contestant in the first ever female certified MMA fight in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Gina Carano, is the reason for all the publicity, she is very well-known even outside of the MMA ring, Yahoo dot com has ranked Gina Carano in their top 10 ranking of most influenced women of 2008. She will face Brazilian fighter Cristiane Santos Cyborg on Showtime, Saturday night, 15 August.
