It was predicted before this fight Gina Carano vs. Cristiane Cyborg Santos that it is going to be much close and both fighters will give tough time to each other, but it did never happened at all , the fight continued just for 4 minutes and 59 seconds. Right from the beginning the attention of the audience was attained by the fighters but that was Cyborg, who due to her bigger size dominated over Gina Carano. Cybrog’s first-round knockout victory over Carano after just 4 minutes and 59 seconds was overwhelming for her fans.

Mixed Martial Arts fight held by Srikeforce was between Gina Carano from USA and Cristiane Cyborg Santos from Brazil, fight was held at San Jose, California on Sunday August 15and Showtime cable network telecasted the event live. It was the first big promotion by Strikeforce after Ultimate Fighting Championship and first female fight which was between Gina Carano and Cristiane Cyborg Santos which generated the hype more than expectations.

The fight visibly belonged to Santos from the opening bell, as she crushed Carano with jabs, hooks and kicks. Although, crowd was chanting Gina’s name and showing favoritism for her, but she appeared to be strangely mismatched and could not manage herself to fight back against that fighting machine. The referee blew the whistle just before a second to the total of first round time, declaring a TKO win in favor of Cyborg.

It was a touching moment for MMA fighter GinaCarano, as she handed over the Strikeforce Mixed MartialArtsWoman Featherweight Titkebelt to Cristiane Cyborg Santos.
