Grand Tetons
The Grand Teton mountain range forms the western edge of a large plateau surrounded by mountains known as Jackson Hole. Their jagged hills rise almost vertically up to 1250 meters above the 20 km wide valley of Jackson Hole. There are several large lakes, which form a stunning foreground for the mountain. In Teton Village, south of the park boundary, there is a cable car, which runs more than 1,300 meters to the summit of a 3.185 meter high mountain, where you can enjoy alpine hiking trails.
