James Woods is going to touch her dream. The actor, recently seen in the series Shark lawyer cynical and effective moves to the realization. And for his first venture behind the camera, he chose the young actress Kristen Stewart, revealed by the Twilight phenomenon.
It was during a stormy night that James Woods receives the scenario. After reading, he decided to buy the rights and direct the feature, with the only condition the presence of Kristen Stewart in the lead role.

An American Girl tells the story of a self-destructive young woman who joined the Marines and went on the Iraqi front in contact with Muslim women. In this adventure, she draws the strength to rebuild. “It’s a phenomenal story and a role to Oscar for it,” said James Woods,
who said he had offered the part before it is known. The actress would also like to see play the role of his father on screen, but it prefers to have only one cap. For now, no information is given on the start of filming of An American Girl, but the actress says impatient that the adventure begins.
James Woods is the son of an army officer Gail Peyton Woods, died in 1960, and teacher Martha Woods. Has a younger brother named Michael, born in 1957.
Because of the profession of his father, James lived in various U.S. cities during his childhood and adolescence. After finishing high school he studied political science at MIT in Massachusetts.
In the late ’60s he began acting in theater, debuting on Broadway in the beginning of the next decade. Later he made his first television appearances on such shows as “Kojak” or “The Streets of San Francisco”, and film, debuting in Elia Kazan’s film “The Visitors” (1972).
