Kara Kennedy beloved daughter of US Senator late Edward M. Ted Kennedy who was a enthusiastic counselor for cancer patients, not only in his home state of Massachusetts, but nationally. Senator Ted Kennedy has passed away on couple of days ago on August 25, 2009 he was the patient of brain tumor.

Ted Kennedy’s only daughter, 49 years old Kara Kennedy has been suffering from lungs cancer since 2002, Doctors diagnosed that she had lungs cancer when she was 42 years old and have two young children. Ted Kennedy’s role in the battle of this severe disease for his daughter is exceptional and unforgettable.

He loved her daughter so much that when he came to know about her daughter’s disease He used all his possible efforts for the life of Kara, he researched the disease and doctors, and finally found a surgeon. Dr. David. J. Sugarbaker, Chief of Thoracic Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, for her daughter.

Kara is now following chemotherapy and she mourns ted Kennedy’s death and said that she will always be grateful for her father’s contributions for saving her life. She recalls that he prayed for her every day and encouraged Kara in her faith for life and made all the possible differences in her life.

Kara admired her father’s efforts for her life by saying that my heart goes out to those who don’t have a father like Ted Kennedy; he was a great man, an excellent senator and an amazing father.
