Michael Vick Nike Contract

CHICAGO Nike, one of the biggest sportswear manufacturing companies, denied the two years back deal with Michael Vick, after the quarterback of the National Football League was charged and arrested due to the funding a dog fight ring.

KeJuan Wilkins, Nike Spokesman said Nike had no business relationship whatsoever with the player other the supply of the products as they do to several sportsmen, Nike broken up the deal in 2007, after the conviction on the Michael Vick.

They said in response to the reports which suggested that the Vick’s lawyer quoted that his client has an endorsement deal with the Nike, but the term and conditions are yet to be disclosed.

Nike make this issue very clear by addressing that they don’t have any kind of legal binding or contractual binding with the Foot ball Player, as they admitted the fact that they were just supplying the gear to the player as a normal athlete. They also told that they were not paying the player in this regard.

Michael Vick was one of the legends in National Football League and he was judged to remain behind the bars for around 23 months in regards to the conviction of backing up and funding a dog fight at his own land in Virginia.

The offense of funding the dog fight caused him very badly in financial aspect that cost around hundred million dollars and a club owned by him. He was out of the bars in May.
