Nigel Marven

Nigel Marven- a well known anchor and host of the famous BBC series walking With Dinosaurs, has taken up the role at the Great Fen Project. After walking with dinosaurs for years now he will be at home in the Fens.

The Great Fen Project is actually a charitable organization that is working to restore more than 90,000 acres of land in Cambridge shire to make a haven for all species of fantastic birds and other wildlife.

Nigel Marven is the TV presenter who is also a world expert in a diversity of animals still walking the Earth, and has also been directed The Life of Birds, an episode of Sir David Attenborough’s series. Now he is going to do his fen project with his beloved, Theo. He said I am thrilled to visit all these places with my son.

Nigel is not the first celebrity to go with that type of project “ the former Prime Minister John Major was an enthusiistic Fen devotee and famous writer, comedian and TV host Stephen Fry is another Great Fen President.

The manager of Great Fen project Chris Gerrard said that he feels very happy to work with Nigel on this project because his love of wildlife and eagerness for stimulating others about the natural world make him an excellent supporter for The Great Fen Project and its values.
