England’s Football Association (EFA) has charged West Ham and Millwall after crowd nuisance flawed their League Cup game last month.

Premier League squad West Ham faces four counts of failing to manage its cohorts, while London opponent Millwall must respond three charges, English soccer’s governing body said in an announcement. The clubs have fourteen days to answer.

Although the clubs have been informed, it is considered that the Football Association will make no open declaration concerning the exact details of the charges until Monday. It is understood that the urban Police were worried that Millwall’s trip to Leyton Orient today, which will take their supporters in close proximity in east London, would direct to any declaration ahead of the game possibly inflaming the condition.

During the evening of the tie a forty four year old man was wounded and hospitalized and a number of other people were wounded after trouble broke out at about 6pm, prior to the fighting sustained close to and inside the Boleyn Ground. During the match, which West Ham succeed 3-1 in extra-time, the ground was attacked 3 times, cohorts threw missiles at each other and there were assertions that Carlton Cole received monkey tunes from Millwall cohorts as he was replace with.

The sports minister, Gerry Sutcliffe, explained the prospects as “a dishonor to football” prior to backing the FA’s call for life bans for those found to have been concerned. Andy Williamson, the chief operating officer at the Football League under whose authority the match knocks down, said: “We absolutely condemn the fighting that took place in last night’s game. Such manners have no place within the match and we will work with the appropriate establishment to make sure those behind it are detained to count.”

Though it is uncertain whether Millwall will struggle the charges against them, it is thought West Ham will build up a tough resistance. The Football Association and the police have declared they will not be taking action against Bellamy, the supporter or either Manchester club.
