Yankees angels win in 11 entries and remain alive in the playoffs.

The Los Angeles Angels needed 11 entries to win the New York Yankees 5 to 4 on the night of Monday, to close the gap in the playoffs the final American League MLB (Major League Baseball). With the result, the team of New York leads the best of seven series by 2 to 1.

The match, the first in Los Angeles, had a show of home runs (batting beyond the limits of the field), with six – four for the Yankees. Interestingly, the move that set the game was a double hit from Jeff Mathis, who drove the winning run by Howie Kendrick.

The fourth game of the series is scheduled for this Tuesday, again in Los Angeles. Scott Kazmir, the former star of the Tampa Bay Rays is scheduled to begin shooting for the home team, while CC Sabathia, one of the main stars of the league, should open the game for the Yankees.

Alex Rodíguez and Jorge Posada have both hit a solo homer in the seventh inning to lead the Yankees to a victory of 4 to 1 against the Minnesota Twins on Sunday night. This victory allows New Yorkers to sweep the series 3 to 0.

With their victory, the Yankees reached the final of the AHL for the first time in five years. They then eliminated the Twins to get there it was in 2004. They also ended the season for the Twins last year.

The Yankees will receive the Los Angeles Angels for the first game of the championship series of the American League baseball Friday night.
